Discussion/approval/disapproval of a grant award from the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission to Pinal County Adult Probation under the FY20 Arizona Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding (ACESF) Program, Grant Award #ACESF-21- 042, in the amount of $37,658.00, for the period beginning January 20, 2020 and ending January 20, 2022. The awarded funds will provide overtime for administrative staff to assist with processing cases for court when cases continued during the Coronavirus shutdown come due at the same time new cases are coming in. The awarded funds will also provide laptop computers for probation officers enabling them to work remotely for the remainder of the Coronavirus crisis, and a video conferencing system to allow for virtual staff meetings.
