Funds to be applied to county expenditures for county staff in the Office of Emergency Management, Public Works Department. Additionally, to authorize the County Emergency Manager to execute all documents necessary to maintain said grant. The Pinal County Manager approved the submission of the grant application on June 18, 2015. The Office of Emergency Management’s overall budget for fiscal year 2015/2016 is funded in part by Highway Users Revenue Fund (HURF) at $135,000 (22.5%), Flood Control at $135,000 (22.5%) and with $30,000 (5%) of In-Kind contribution obtained from volunteers, Pinal County Health Department and disaster response funded through HURF. The Emergency Management Performance Grant contributes to the remaining half for fiscal year 2015/2016. There is no impact to the General Fund. Budget Appropriation was included in FY15/16 budget. This requires a FY 15/16 budget amendment to move budget from non personal services to personal services within cost center 2401042 in the Sheriff/Immigration Fund (Fund 290).
