Funds to be used for Overtime/ERE. No budget amendment required, budget processed FY 15/16 budget preparation. There will be no general impact on the General Fund. (Paul Babeu) N. Discussion/approval/disapproval of Amendment 1, extending the termination date from June 30, 2015 to June 30, 2016 of the Department of Public Safety, Vehicle Theft Task Force (VTTF) IGA Contract # 2014-146 between Pinal County Sheriff's Office and the Department of Public Safety. Department of Public Safety agrees to reimburse Pinal County of 75% of the salary and EREs of the assigned police officer and 100% of pre-authorized Task Force related overtime hrs. The required match 25%, salary and EREs will come from Cost Center 2401016 (General Fund). This does not require a fiscal year budget amendment as the appropriation was approved in the FY 15/16 Final Budget. (Paul Babeu) O. Discussion/approval/disapproval of Amendment 1 of the PCSO Communications Shelter Project Award 14-AZ-DOHS-HSGP-140307-01 between Pinal County Sheriff's Office and the Arizona Department of Homeland Security in the amount of $68,000, to extend the termination dated from September 30, 2015 to December 31, 2015. Funds to be used to construct a Communications Shelter. This does not require a fiscal year budget amendment as the appropriation was approved in the FY 15/16 Final Budget (Paul Babeu) P. Discussion/approval/disapproval of the FY 2015-2016 Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the Superior Court of Arizona in Pinal County/Family Law Commissioner and the Arizona Department of Economic Security (ADES). The IGA covers activity by the Family Law Commissioner for Child Support IV-D cases. The IGA covers a period of five (5) years. No additional budget capacity is necessary at this time as funds for this activity were included and approved in the FY2016 budget process. (Todd Zweig) Q. Discussion/approval/disapproval of the (now modified) Intergovernmental Agreement between the Superior Court/Juvenile Court Services and the Office of the Attorney General. The IGA covers mediation services provided to the Pinal County Justice Courts/Juvenile Court Services. This is an on-going program that provides mediation services in small claims cases, truancy cases, etc.. The IGA will commence on July 1, 2015 and end June 30, 2015. Funds for mediation services have been allocated in the Superior Court Judicial Collection Enhancement Fund Budget for FY 2016. (Todd Zweig) R. Discussion/approval/disapproval of the request by the Honorable Lyle Riggs, Maricopa Justice of the Peace and Honorable Tresa Georgini, Maricopa Magistrate Judge, for the appointment of Clint Sorenson as Justice of the Peace Pro Tempore. Said appointment is made by the Presiding Judge or the Superior Court. No additional budget capacity is required as funds previously allocated for pro tem judges is sufficient at this time.
