This award replaces the previous award that was approved by the Board on January 6, 2016, correcting Award Number from 15-AZDOHS-HSGP-150312-01 to 15-AZDOHS-OPSG-150312-01 and correcting the award dates from October 1, 2015 thru September 30, 2016 to January 1, 2016 thru December 31, 2016. The Award amount of $575,640 and the Services, Overtime and Mileage remain the same. There will be no impact on the General Fund.

Discussion/approval/disapproval of the establishment of special retirement pay plans. These special pay plans will allow employees to receive their lump sum payout for sick and vacation pay upon retirement thru either a tax free medical trust to be used to pay qualified medical expenses or a tax deferred retirement plan. By establishing these special pay plans, the employee and the employer do not pay FICA taxes on the distribution which results in a 7.65% savings to both the employee and the employer.

This award replaces the previous award that was approved by the Board on January 6, 2016, correcting Award Number from 15-AZDOHS-HSGP-150312-01 to 15-AZDOHS-OPSG-150312-01 and correcting the award dates from October 1, 2015 thru September 30, 2016 to January 1, 2016 thru December 31, 2016. The Award amount of $575,640 and the Services, Overtime and Mileage remain the same. There will be no impact on the General Fund.

Discussion/approval/disapproval of the sale of State Tax Deeded parcel 505-07-015B2 pursuant to A.R.S. 42-18302. The parcel was previously advertised for auction on November 12th and 19th, 2015 but received no bidders at that time. Two bids for $51,000.00 for the parcel 505-07-015B2 from Larry Morris and Frank Kelley have now been received. Pursuant to A.R.S. 42-18303(A) additional bids will be taken and considered.
Public hearing and discussion/approval/disapproval of Resolution No. 021716-CDBG, a resolution authorizing the submission of grant applications to be made to the Arizona Department of Housing for Pinal County's Owner Occupied Housing Rehabilitation program, a project selected based on citizen input as well as local and state planning objectives.
Discussion/approval/disapproval of Resolution No. 021716-AD15-012, a resolution approving the Master Plan 2015 for the Pinal Airpark.
Discussion/approval/disapproval of Resolution No. 021716-7RDWID, a resolution revoking the authority of the elected Board of Directors for Seven (7) Ranches Domestic Water Improvement District per A.R.S. 48-1016, and calling an election for a new Board of Directors for August 30, 2016.
Discussion/approval/disapproval of the establishment of special retirement pay plans. These special pay plans will allow employees to receive their lump sum payout for sick and vacation pay upon retirement thru either a tax free medical trust to be used to pay qualified medical expenses or a tax deferred retirement plan. By establishing these special pay plans, the employee and the employer do not pay FICA taxes on the distribution which results in a 7.65% savings to both the employee and the employer.
