Discussion/approval/disapproval of an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with the City of Apache Junction for the contribution of $18,000.00 to help assist Senior Services. Easy Valley Adult Resources informed the city that they are no longer able to provide senior services at their Multigenerational Center as of November 11, 2016. From November 11, 2016 to June 30, 2017, Pinal-Gila Area Agency on Aging will be providing services to the community via contract. The City of Apache Junction Parks and Recreation Department has concluded in order to meet minimum service deliveries, they are requesting $18,000.00 to assist during this time frame. (Greg Stanley)

Discussion/approval/disapproval of Amendment 2, extending the termination date from June 30, 2016 to June 30, 2017 of the Department of Public Safety, Vehicle Theft Task Force (VTTF) IGA Contract #2014-146 between Pinal County Sheriff's Office and the Department of Public Safety. Department of Public Safety agrees to reimburse Pinal County of 75% of the salary and EREs of the assigned police officer and 100% of pre-authorized Task Force related overtime hours. The required match 25%, salary and EREs will come from Cost Center 2401016 (General Fund). This does not require a fiscal year budget amendment as the appropriation was approved in the FY 16/17 final budget. (Paul Babeu)

The required 25% match, for Salary and ERE will come from Cost Center 2401018 (General Fund). The Pinal County Sheriff's Office will be supporting and In-kind match of $8,357. This requires an amendment to the FY 16/17 budget to transfer reserve appropriation only from Fund 213 (Grants/Project Contingency) to Fund 203 (Sheriff Grants) to increase revenue and expenditure appropriations and a transfer from General Fund cost center 2401016 to Sheriff Grants fund 203. Discussion/approval/disapproval of the Dependency Case Processing Initiative Grant as requested by the Hon. Stephen F. McCarville, Superior Court Presiding Judge. Grant funds in the amount of $177,775.00, as provided through the Governor's Office and the Administrative Office of the Courts, are available for a two-year cycle and will be used to support the addition of a part-time commissioner as well as associated technology and equipment. Approval of this item, by the Pinal County Board of Supervisors, will authorize the creation of a special revenue account established for the execution of the Agreement, a budget amendment/appropriation and the approval of a new position for a part-time commissioner.
