Discussion/approval/disapproval of the purchase of duty weapons: Glock 22 handgun, serial number RYE750 and Colt AR15 carbine, serial number LE256016 to be sold to retired Sergeant Scott Dill. Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-1115 (A) (B), upon retirement an eligible retiring officer, subject to the officer's employer's approval, may purchase the firearms issued by the employer to the officer at a price determined by the administrator of the agency employing the law enforcement officer. Sergeant Scott Dill is one of the last persons to retire under the previous policy that allowed a retiring officer two weapons. The policy has since been changed to allow one weapon and the second at fair market value. (Mark Lamb)

Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-1115 (A) (B), upon retirement an eligible retiring officer, subject to the officer's employer's approval, may purchase the firearms issued by the employer to the officer at a price determined by the administrator of the agency employing the law enforcement officer. Sergeant Scott Dill is one of the last persons to retire under the previous policy that allowed a retiring officer two weapons.
