Discussion/approval/disapproval of the Victim of Crime Act (VOCA) Agreement and Contract No. 2018- 322 between the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) and the Pinal County Attorney’s Office to commence on October 1, 2017, and terminate September 30, 2020, in the amount of $419,139 to provide enhanced forensic medical services to victims of crime (CFDA #16-575) and to fill one part-time Victim Advocate position (Position # 5144, Fund 268, Cost Center TBD). The acceptance of the VOCA Enhanced Medical Services Project requires approval of an amendment to the FY 2017-18 budget for 5 months of the grant period (February 1, 2018 – June 30, 2018). The appropriation designates an additional $85,693 to grant revenue and an increase of $102,832 in personnel services and expenditures in fund 268. The matching contribution results in a decrease of $17,139 in personnel service expenditures in Fund 10, Cost Centers 2300431 & 2300437 with a corresponding $17,139 transfer out from Fund 10 and transfer in to Fund 268, Cost Center TBD. The acceptance of the VOCA Justice Court DV Project requires approval of an amendment to the FY 2017-18 budget for 5 months of the grant period (February 1, 2018 – June 30, 2018). The appropriation designates and additional $44,230 to grant revenue and an increase of $53,076 in personnel services and expenditures in fund 268. The matching contribution results in a decrease of $8,846 in personnel service expenditures in Fund 10, Cost Center 2300211 with a corresponding $8,846 transfer out from Fund 10 and transfer in to Fund 268, Cost Center TBD. The amendment will appropriate an additional $44,230 to revenue with a corresponding offset to Fund 213. Discussion/approval/disapproval of the Victim of Crime Act (VOCA) Agreement and Contract No. 2018- 325 between the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) and the Pinal County Attorney’s Office to commence on October 1, 2017, and terminate September 30, 2020, in the amount of $30,977 to provide services to victims of crime (CFDA #16-575) through the purchase of a facility canine. The acceptance of the VOCA Facility Dog Advocacy Project requires approval of an amendment to the FY 2017-18 budget for 5 months of the grant period (February 1, 2018 – June 30, 2018). The appropriation designates an additional $16,589 to grant revenue and an increase of $20,736 in expenditures in fund 268. The matching contribution results in a decrease of $4,147 in personnel service expenditures in Fund 10, Cost Center 2300211 with a corresponding $4,147 transfer out from Fund 10 and transfer in to Fund 268, Cost Center TBD. Discussion/approval/disapproval of a FY 2017-2018 budget amendment to allocate $103,000 from the General Fund non-department cost center to School Superintendent's General Fund cost center to fund the required juvenile detention center education program. SUP-004-17: Public Hearing and discussion/approval/disapproval of Resolution No. 2017-SUP-004-17, a resolution approving case SUP-004-17 - EcoSite, leasee, requesting approval of a Special Use Permit to operate a 95-foot tall monopine wireless facility on a 7.72± acre parcel in the GR (General Rural) Zone; situated in a portion of the NW ¼ of Section 13, T01S, R13E G&SRB&M, tax parcel 106-16-010A (legal on file), located on N Forman Rd west of E US Highway 60 in the Top of the World area.
