Discussion/approval/disapproval of the adoption of the Pinal County Housing Authority (PHA) Agency Action Plan provided by National Association of Latino Community Asset Builders (NALCAB). U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) provided technical assistance through NALCAB who developed this Action Plan to be used by the PHA to address noted deficiencies. Discussion/approval/disapproval of the creation of a new department, the Pinal County Forensic Examination Office (PCFEO), appropriation of funds to pay for domestic violence and sexual assault assessments and examinations, and the creation of an (At-Will) Full Time Forensic Nurse. The position will provide exceptional, personalized and local forensic medical examinations for Pinal County victims of physical, sexual or domestic violence. If approved, this Office will come into existence and the funding will commence on July 1, 2018. It is requested that for FY 18/19, $165,000 of General Fund budget be transferred from the County Attorney's Office to the new department and that $75,000 of new General Fund budget be allocated to the new department. Discussion/approval/disapproval of the adoption of the Pinal County Housing Authority (PHA) Agency Action Plan provided by National Association of Latino Community Asset Builders (NALCAB). U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) provided technical assistance through NALCAB who developed this Action Plan to be used by the PHA to address noted deficiencies. Discussion/approval/disapproval of the creation of a new department, the Pinal County Forensic Examination Office (PCFEO), appropriation of funds to pay for domestic violence and sexual assault assessments and examinations, and the creation of an (At-Will) Full Time Forensic Nurse. The position will provide exceptional, personalized and local forensic medical examinations for Pinal County victims of physical, sexual or domestic violence. If approved, this Office will come into existence and the funding will commence on July 1, 2018. It is requested that for FY 18/19, $165,000 of General Fund budget be transferred from the County Attorney's Office to the new department and that $75,000 of new General Fund budget be allocated to the new department.
