Discussion/approval/disapproval of the Pinal County Attorney’s Office request to access the accumulated Diversion Program funds housed in Fund 301. The accumulated funds are from the Diversion Supervision and Administration fee of $75.00, with a sliding scale component for qualifying participants, for individuals that choose to participate in the County Attorney's Adult Deferred Prosecution Program. Initial agreement stated accumulated funds from collection of diversion fees would not be utilized until FY18/19. Discussion/approval/disapproval of the Pinal County Attorney’s Office request to access the accumulated Diversion Program funds housed in Fund 301. The accumulated funds are from the Diversion Supervision and Administration fee of $75.00, with a sliding scale component for qualifying participants, for individuals that choose to participate in the County Attorney's Adult Deferred Prosecution Program. Initial agreement stated accumulated funds from collection of diversion fees would not be utilized until FY18/19. We are now requesting permission to utilize the funds to offset the administrative cost of maintaining the program. (Kent Volkmer)
