This is an ongoing program with a maximum of $25,000 in funds provided by the Arizona Supreme Court. Said funds are used to offset a portion of the wages and employee related expenses of the Limited Jurisdiction Field Trainer who provides case management training and administrative support to all limited jurisdiction courts. Budget capacity for this position is included in the Courts FY20 budget, therefore, a budget amendment is not necessary. (Todd Zweig) *W. Discussion/approval/disapproval of the FY20 Fill-the-Gap Fund (FTG) application. This is an on-going program consisting of a combination of State ($116,823) and local ($334,652) Fill-the-Gap funds. Funds are authorized for criminal case processing and cover the wages and employee related expenses of two judges, two judicial assistants and one bailiff. Judicial officers and staff are assigned to Early Disposition Court (EDC) and Probation Restoration Court (PRC). Discussion/approval/disapproval of Clerk of The Superior Court's Office requesting the utilization of monies out of Fund 183-Clerk Electronic Document Management Fund to digitize and archive old and inactive court files and documents housed within the Pinal County Clerk of the Superior Court's office vault. This will remain to be an ongoing project within the Clerk's office. The purchase of this service will help to safeguard our files and create more room within the vault area of the courthouse. Discussion/approval/disapproval of the creation of the Forensic Nurse Manager and Forensic Nurse job classifications in the Medical Forensic Services Department. Currently, with one employee, duties are blended into one classification. The Forensic Nurse Manager classification will include program management, supervision, and direct service. The Forensic Nurse position will be primarily direct service. This coincides with the FY 19/20 budget request that was approved on May 8, 2019. (Leo Lew)

Presentation/discussion/approval/disapproval of the Pinal County tentative budget for FY 19/20 in the amount of $512,106,937. This budget proposes reducing the primary property tax rate from $3.8300 to $3.7900. Approval of this budget also approves the creation of any newly requested positions,which have existing job classifications, that were included in the budget development process. Presentation/discussion/approval/disapproval of the Pinal County tentative budget for FY 19/20 in the amount of $512,106,937. This budget proposes reducing the primary property tax rate from $3.8300 to $3.7900. Approval of this budget also approves the creation of any newly requested positions,which have existing job classifications, that were included in the budget development process.
