There is no pre-proposal since the funding is non-grant related and there is no competitive application process. PCAO is a designated operational unit for the victim compensation program with ACJC and these funds are allocated each year to us. Discussion/approval/disapproval of Clerk of The Superior Court's Office requesting the utilization of monies out of Fund 183-Clerk Electronic Document Management Fund to digitize and archive old and inactive court files and documents housed within the Pinal County Clerk of the Superior Court's office vault. This will remain to be an ongoing project within the Clerk's office. The purchase of this service will help to safeguard our files and create more room within the vault area of the courthouse. Discussion/approval/disapproval of the Clerk of the Superior Court’s Office respectfully requesting the utilization of monies out of fund 154 in order to purchase a ticketing system for Pinal County Clerk of the Superior Court satellite locations that are located in Apache Junction and Casa Grande. The name of this system is called QMATIC. QMATIC is already up and running in the Florence location. This system will be utilized in order to make the checking in to the court for court services more accessible, in addition to providing performance data and statistics. Discussion/approval/disapproval for Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Lieutenants and Captains to be granted an allowance to be eligible to work extra-duty in the County Adult Detention Complex at the off-duty hourly rate. Specifically this allowance will permit these employees to work extra-duty assignments to help with the California inmates that are being housed in the Adult Detention Complex. This detail is expected to last through September 28, 2019, at which time this exception will expire. This allowance will allow for better resource management, reduce the workload for line level staff, and improve overall operations for this unexpected influx of inmates. (Mark Lamb)

Discussion/approval/disapproval of the Crime Victim Compensation Grant Agreement, ACJC Grant Number VC-20-060, between Arizona Criminal Justice Commission and Pinal County, through the Pinal County Attorney’s Office, to commence on July 1, 2019, and terminate June 30, 2020, in the amount of $269,160 to provide compensation awards to victims of criminally injurious conduct occurring within Pinal County. There is no pre-proposal since the funding is non-grant related and there is no competitive application process. PCAO is a designated operational unit for the victim compensation program with ACJC and these funds are allocated each year to us. Discussion/approval/disapproval of Clerk of The Superior Court's Office requesting the utilization of monies out of Fund 183-Clerk Electronic Document Management Fund to digitize and archive old and inactive court files and documents housed within the Pinal County Clerk of the Superior Court's office vault. This will remain to be an ongoing project within the Clerk's office. The purchase of this service will help to safeguard our files and create more room within the vault area of the courthouse. Discussion/approval/disapproval of the Clerk of the Superior Court’s Office respectfully requesting the utilization of monies out of fund 154 in order to purchase a ticketing system for Pinal County Clerk of the Superior Court satellite locations that are located in Apache Junction and Casa Grande. The name of this system is called QMATIC. QMATIC is already up and running in the Florence location. This system will be utilized in order to make the checking in to the court for court services more accessible, in addition to providing performance data and statistics. Discussion/approval/disapproval for Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Lieutenants and Captains to be granted an allowance to be eligible to work extra-duty in the County Adult Detention Complex at the off-duty hourly rate. Specifically this allowance will permit these employees to work extra-duty assignments to help with the California inmates that are being housed in the Adult Detention Complex. This detail is expected to last through September 28, 2019, at which time this exception will expire. This allowance will allow for better resource management, reduce the workload for line level staff, and improve overall operations for this unexpected influx of inmates. (Mark Lamb)
