The funding may also be utilized for county jail cost relating to illegal immigration. Discussion/approval/disapproval of Pinal County Adult Probation accepting a funding grant award provided through the US Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Adult Drug Court Discretionary Grant Award 2019-DC-BX-0039 for the period of 10/1/19-9/30/22 with total funding of $425,976. This grant will allow for the expansion of Adult Probation Drug Court Services within Pinal County. Acceptance of these funds will require the creation of a new cost center (2620340) within fund 274 as well as the creation of 2 new personnel positions: Probation Officer Senior and Surveillance Officer.
