Discussion/approval/disapproval of Pinal County participating in the FY21 Family Counseling Program administered through Pinal County Juvenile Court Services as A.R.S. 8.265. The Family Counseling Program requires a county cash match in the amount of $8,381 which represents the portion awarded through the State Legislative formula allocation plan. Discussion/approval/disapproval of promotional to over mid-point of Pinal County Wage and Compensation Policy 4.20. We have an internal promotion where the employee who has been with the County for nearly 14 years and was recently promoted and because of her years of services and standard promotion 5% increase in salary, the employee's salary will be above 50th percentile. Discussion/approval/disapproval of a starting salary above the mid-point. The position in question (#3130) is a PC Tech. A long time employee (#1341/#2718 split funded) with significant I.T. experience applied for this position and was successful through a competitive process. We are requesting that her salary remain the same but because it is $1,321.08 above the mid-point, we respectfully request B.O.S. approval. This has no impact on the General Fund. (Todd D. Zweig)

Discussion/approval/disapproval of sending a letter to the Arizona Department of Quality (ADEQ) requesting that ADEQ exercise its authority to determine the critical issues which need to be addressed at Johnson Utilities wastewater facilities in order to protect public health and safety, and to submit the determination to the Arizona Corporation Commission so the projects necessary to resolve those critical issues can be removed from the dispute resolution process for the Capital Improvement Plan prepared by EPCOR as interim manager of Johnson Utilities, and/or send the letter requested by Johnson Utilities ownership supporting their proposed improvements to the section 11 wastewater treatment plant. We have an internal promotion where the employee who has been with the County for nearly 14 years and was recently promoted and because of her years of services and standard promotion 5% increase in salary, the employee's salary will be above 50th percentile. Discussion/approval/disapproval of a starting salary above the mid-point. The position in question (#3130) is a PC Tech. A long time employee (#1341/#2718 split funded) with significant I.T. experience applied for this position and was successful through a competitive process. Discussion/approval/disapproval of sending a letter to the Arizona Department of Quality (ADEQ) requesting that ADEQ exercise its authority to determine the critical issues which need to be addressed at Johnson Utilities wastewater facilities in order to protect public health and safety, and to submit the determination to the Arizona Corporation Commission so the projects necessary to resolve those critical issues can be removed from the dispute resolution process for the Capital Improvement Plan prepared by EPCOR as interim manager of Johnson Utilities, and/or send the letter requested by Johnson Utilities ownership supporting their proposed improvements to the section 11 wastewater treatment plant.
