Discussion/approval/disapproval of the AZ Vote Safe Program (No. ERMT-CRF-21-1009) award agreement between the State of Arizona acting through the Governor’s Office, and the Pinal County Elections Department and the Pinal County Recorder's Office, through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors for $300,143. The funding is to help combat the coronavirus pandemic for the 2020 Federal Election cycle. The award will be used to help ameliorate some of the unexpected costs incurred by the pandemic, such as protective equipment, cleaning supplies, additional ballot drop boxes, and temporary staff. Acceptance approves the creation of three (3) Election Cycle Temporary positions within the Recorder’s Office and an amendment to the FY 20/21 budget to transfer reserve appropriation from Fund 213 (Grants/Project Contingency) to Fund 266 (Misc Grants) to increase revenue and expenditure appropriations. Discussion/approval/disapproval of the AZ Vote Safe Program (No. ERMT-CRF-21-1009) award agreement between the State of Arizona acting through the Governor’s Office, and the Pinal County Elections Department and the Pinal County Recorder's Office, through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors for $300,143. The funding is to help combat the coronavirus pandemic for the 2020 Federal Election cycle. The award will be used to help ameliorate some of the unexpected costs incurred by the pandemic, such as protective equipment, cleaning supplies, additional ballot drop boxes, and temporary staff.
