The award will be used to purchase a camera system upgrade for photo-documentation for the County Attorney's Eloy Family Advocacy Center. Acceptance requires an amendment to the FY 20/21 budget to transfer reserve appropriation from Fund 213 (Grants/Project Contingency) to Fund 268 (CO Atty Misc Grants) to increase revenue and expenditure appropriations. The award will be used to provide training in child pornography and trafficking to the County Attorney's San Tan Valley Family Advocacy Center. Acceptance requires an amendment to the FY 20/21 budget to transfer reserve appropriation from Fund 213 (Grants/Project Contingency) to Fund 268 (CO Atty Misc Grants) to increase revenue and expenditure appropriations. Fair market value for Glock is approximately $420 and Fair market value for Colt AR15 is $330. Purchase of issued weapon(s) upon retirement is also in compliance with A.R.S. 38-1115A which allows a law enforcement officer upon his/her retirement to purchase his/her issued weapon(s) at a price determined by the administrator of the agency. Discussion/approval/disapproval for Court Administration to eliminate a vacant Financial Manager position in the General Fund and create, in its place, a new Budget Analyst position. This modification will result in a projected cost savings of $15,712 in the General Fund. (Todd D. Zweig).
Discussion/approval/disapproval of an application for use of up to $60,000 from the Pinal County Attorney's Office anti-racketeering revolving fund account to assist Pinal County Law Enforcement Agencies with the expenses of purchasing certified K-9's for drug interdiction and investigative purposes. This request is made in accordance with and under the authority of A.R.S. 13-2314.03 whereby before the County Attorney's Office may use any monies from the fund that the County Attorney submit an application that includes a description of what the requested monies will be used for to the Board of Supervisors for approval.
