These donations will be used for purposes consistent with the priorities, goals, and mission of PCSO, including Shop with the Sheriff, S.A.R Posse, Benevolent Fund, MWR (morale, welfare, and recreation), and Community Relations. Acceptance of the donations will in no way negatively impact or limit PCSO performance and will not create any conflict of interest. (Mark Lamb) * O. Discussion/approval/disapproval for Award Agreement No. NCHIP-20-22-004 between the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission (ACJC), and the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors beginning January 1, 2021, ending December 31, 2022, in the amount of $300,611. The grant will be used for personnel to scan arrest bookings that are utilized for court disposition records (FDR). The acceptance requires an amendment to the FY 20/21 budget to transfer reserve appropriation from Fund 213 (Grants/Project Contingency) to Fund 203 (Sheriff's Grants) to increase revenue and expenditure appropriations. The appropriation also includes a participant match of $33,401 that will come from the Sheriff's Office General Fund budget. (Mark Lamb) * P. Funds would be used to purchase four (4) unmarked DUI and Traffic Enforcement vehicles, fully equipped ($315,649.74) and Overtime/Employee Related Expenses ($150,000.00) to enhance DUI Enforcement, STEP (Traffic) Enforcement, and Training for deputies to attend and instruct SFT’s/HGN schooling, qualified phlebotomy, ARIDE and DRE schooling and four (4) Portable Breathe Testers (PBT).
