If approved this award will be used for Salaries and EREs for the Pinal County Narcotic Task Force. If approved the grant will be used to enhance the Sheriff's Juvenile Redirection Program (JRP). The funds will be used for Overtime/ERE, class materials, Hoofbeats equine therapy sessions, and outside speakers. Martin Foundation Application In the amount of $185,000 if awarded the funds will be used towards operations for the Search and Rescue Unit, the Youth Explorer Program, Aviation Unit, Community Relations and Moral, Welfare and Recognition (MWR). (Mark Lamb) * AV. Discussion/approval/disapproval of the FY 2021 Arizona Department of Homeland Security (DOHS) Operation Stonegarden Application, in the amount of $4,793,847. The grant will be used for daily personnel deployments in support of the DOHS operational objectives and directives associated with border security. Pinal County Sheriff's Office will assist DOHS with border security by detecting, deterring, interdicting, apprehending, and prosecuting anyone identified that is associated with or involved in Human and Drug Trafficking. If awarded the funds will be used for Overtime/ERE’s and Mileage $1,527,687, Equipment, Aviation Fuel and Aircraft Maintenance $3,237,360 and Travel $28,800. (Mark Lamb) * AW. Discussion/approval/disapproval of the FY 2022 Arizona Department of Administration, Arizona 9-1-1 Grant Program Application in the amount of $551,200. The grant will be used for telephone operational equipment funding for every 9-1-1 Dispatch Center in Pinal County, provided by Lumen, AT&T, Sprint and Alluvian for FY 21/22. Distribution of funding per A.R.S. 41-707, which establishes the administration of the emergency telecommunication services. (Mark Lamb) * AX. Discussion/approval/disapproval for the Amended Award Agreement between the Governor's Office of Highway Safety, State of Arizona, and the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors for the DUI/Impaired Driving Enforcement Award. Amendment No. 2021-39, is a $80,000 increase that will be used for overtime and EREs. The acceptance does not require an amendment to the FY 20/21 budget, but will be included in the FY 21/22 budget. The grant will cover overtime/ERE, two (2) police packaged vehicles with Pro Laser4 bundle, and Kustom G/E Radars. The Acceptance requires an amendment to the FY 20/21 budget to transfer reserve appropriation only from Fund 213 (Grants/Project Contingency) to Fund 116 (Sheriff/Traffic Safety) to increase revenue and expenditure appropriations. Discussion/approval/disapproval of abatement of 2012-2017 personal property taxes pursuant to A.R.S. 42-18351(1) and A.R.S. 42-18352(D) of Taxpayer ID No. T99- 14-66101. Land parcel 411-20-043A upon which manufactured home was situated on was taken by the Arizona Department of Transportation in 2012 per Fee No. 2012- 053204 for the I-10 expansion. Land was cleared at that time and all improvements (manufactured home) were demolished. Assessor's has corrected 2018 forward as applicable per NOC. Public Hearing and discussion on the Fiscal Year 2021 Annual Action Plan and the use of funds under the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) programs through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Pinal County will receive $1,287,410 in FY21 CDBG funding, $612,860 in HOME funding, and $156,877 in ESG funding. Public Hearing and discussion on the proposed substantial amendment to the FY19-23 Consolidated Plan and the FY19 Annual Action Plan under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program. The proposed amendment will add the Emergency Solutions Grant in the amount of $156,877 to the FY19-23 Consolidated Plan and add CDBG-CV funds in the amount of $1,497,324 to the FY19 Annual Action Plan. Public Hearing and discussion on the Fiscal Year 2021 Annual Action Plan and the use of funds under the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) programs through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Pinal County will receive $1,287,410 in FY21 CDBG funding, $612,860 in HOME funding, and $156,877 in ESG funding. Public Hearing and discussion on the proposed substantial amendment to the FY19-23 Consolidated Plan and the FY19 Annual Action Plan under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program. The proposed amendment will add the Emergency Solutions Grant in the amount of $156,877 to the FY19-23 Consolidated Plan and add CDBG-CV funds in the amount of $1,497,324 to the FY19 Annual Action Plan.
