PZ-PA-007-19- Casa Grande Carmel Solar Park Work Session for a 2019 Major Comprehensive Plan Amendment to amend the Major Comprehensive Plan Amendment to change the current land use designation, on approximately 795 acres, from Moderate Low Density Residential and Employment to Green Energy Production land use designation. This requested land use change would be consistent with supporting energy infrastructure in the area, including the high-voltage transmission lines running directly through the Project area, nearby APS substations and the existing Walmart Solar plant. PZ-PA-008-19 Midway Work Session for a 2019 Major Comprehensive Plan Amendment to change the current land use designation, on approximately 6,603.54 acres, from Moderate Low Density Residential and Mid/High Density Activity Center to Moderate Low Density Residential land use designation. This request is needed to properly master plan the land adjacent to the proposed I-11 corridor in order to facilitate the development of a commercial, employment, and mid-use core, surrounded by a mixture of residential products and densities. The Midway project will focus its development intensity adjacent to the I-11 corridor, as an anchor to drive development, and as a catalyst for the eventual development of surrounding employment land uses as well as supporting commercial and residential land uses. PZ-PA-009-19 Falcon Valley Area Plan Amendment Work Session for a 2019 Major Comprehensive Plan Amendment to change the current land use designation, on approximately 37,370 acres, The Falcon Area Plan (FVAP) to Pinal County Comprehensive Plan land use designation. The Developer is asking to be excluded from the FVAP so that its development efforts may be directly guided by the Pinal County Comprehensive Plan. (Sangeeta Deokar/Himanshu Patel)
