Discussion/approval/disapproval to execute funding for the HOME ARP Grant Agreement, Grant Number M21-UP040222 between the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and Pinal County, through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors, to commence on September 20, 2021, through September 30, 2030, in the amount of $2,221,167. The award will be used to provide housing, services, and shelter to individuals experiencing homelessness. Funding is provided to jurisdictions who qualify under the regular HOME program. Pinal County will be required to submit an Allocation Plan outlining the use of funds. The grant has been appropriately budgeted in FY 21/22. There is no impact on the General Fund. (12) Discussion/approval/disapproval of acceptance of an award from the Arizona Department of Homeland Security in the amount of $76,318 for a cybersecurity project and the execution of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Arizona Department of Administration to administer the project. (13) Discussion/approval/disapproval granting SRP a power distribution easement, upon unanimous consent of the Board pursuant to A.R.S. 11-251(9). Supervisor District #5. (GA21-013) (Kevin Costello/Andrew Smith)
(14) Discussion/approval/disapproval of the creation of one new GIS Cartography Specialist, Senior position and two new GIS Cartography Specialist positions within the Assessor's office. Approval of the creation of these three positions will require a budget amendment to transfer budget capacity from the general fund financial stability reserve in the amount of $134,550 for FY 21/22 to the Assessor's general fund cost center. The budget capacity will be used to cover the salary and ERE of the three additional positions for 9 months of the fiscal year. This approval also increases the FY 22/23 Assessor's office budget in the amount of $44,850 for the remaining 3 months of funding for these three positions. (Douglas Wolf)
