Amir Osman Bin Ahmed, King of Fulani Ashanti Region of Ghana, Amir Fulbe Palace for the purpose of promoting and identifying themes common to both that can generate new initiatives to further and nurture priorities relevant to Fulani Ashanti Region of Ghana and Pinal County. (8) Presentation: On December 8, 2022, the Pinal County Workforce Development Board (PCWDB) was the recipient of the "Local Board Impact Award, by the Workforce Arizona Council (State Workforce Board) during their annual convening event. The award recognized the County's "Reimagining Our Future" event held on October 20, 2022. The session fulfilled its purpose by providing a venue to solidify an alignment of focus between chief elected officials (Board of Supervisors), County Manager, P CWDB, and Economic and Workforce Development Leadership. T he meeting also provided a venue to discuss how the P CWDB can best shape the ARIZONA@WORK Pinal County service delivery system to meet the talent development needs identified as a result of the economic development growth of Pinal County. AM. Discussion/approval/disapproval for the Award between the Arizona Supreme Court Administrative Office of the Courts and the Pinal County Adult Probation through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors for the Probation Success Incentive Program. The program is used to improve supervision and rehabilitative services for probationers. The addendum requires a fiscal amendment to the FY22/23 budget to transfer reserve appropriation from Fund 213 (Grants/Project Contingency) to Fund 266 Cost Center 2620350 Grant #2022-608 (AP-Probation Success Incentive) to increase revenues and expenditures. There is no impact on the General Fund. (Saul Schoon)
F. Discussion/approval/disapproval of Supervisor Serdy's appointment of Lisa Bradford, Gold Canyon, AZ, 85118 to fulfill the vacancy on the Transportation Advisory Committee. Lisa Bradford's Term of Service will be December 22, 2022, through August 1, 2025. Supervisor District #5. (Natasha Kennedy)

(17) Discussion/approval/disapproval to self-fund the Pinal County employee Short-Term Disability (STD) program. A review of the County’s claims experience and program costs shows the move from a fully-insured plan to a self-funded plan would conservatively save the Pinal County Healthcare Trust approximately $200,000 per year. The proposed change will not impact eligibility, benefit and coverage limits, or access. The change from a fully insured plan to a selffunded Short-Term Disability plan was reviewed and approved by the Pinal County Health Benefits Trust Board on December 6, 2022. If approved, the effective date of the change will be determined by the County Human Resources Department in collaboration with the Office of Budget and Finance and the STD Plan administrator.
