(12) Discussion/approval/disapproval of Lease Agreement between Pinal County (Landlord) and New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (Tenant) located in the northwest quarter of Section 32, Township 1 South, Range 13 East of the Gila and Salt River Meridian, Pinal County, Arizona. Lessee desires to enter a lease for implementation of the Nationwide Public Safety Broadband Network (“FirstNet”), and not for commercial purposes. This lease will commence on December 21, 2022 for an initial term of 10 years with three 5-year automatic renewals. The monthly rent amount shall be $2,400.00 with an annual 2% increase. This lease is subject to third-party approval by Resolution Copper Mining, LLC. The acceptance also requires an amendment to the FY 22/23 budget to transfer reserve appropriation only from Fund 213 (Grants/Project Contingency) to Fund 10 (GF - Public Works) to increase revenue and expenditure appropriations. The appropriation is a pro-rated amount of $16,800 for the current fiscal year. The remaining amount will be budgeted in FY 23/24. This item requires unanimous consent of the Board. (13) Discussion/approval/disapproval of First Amendment Lease between Pinal County (Lessor) and State of Arizona acting by and through its Department of Transportation/Administrative Services Division (Lessee), monthly base rental increase to $3,037.80 with a yearly increase based on the CPI index, effective December 1, 2022 for property located at 575 N. Idaho Road, Suite 600, Apache Junction, AZ 85119. The acceptance also requires an amendment to the FY 22/23 budget to transfer reserve appropriation only from Fund 213 (Grants/Project Contingency) to Fund 10 (GF - Public Works) to increase revenue and expenditure appropriations. The appropriation is a pro-rated amount of $21,265 for the current fiscal year. The remaining amount will be budgeted in FY 23/24. This item requires unanimous consent of the Board. (15) Discussion/approval/disapproval to create a new customer service specialist position for Community Development to assist at the Mammoth office. The role will assist customers with applying for landfill vouchers, online services such as burn permits, paying taxes, searching for recorded documents, and all other inquiries. Approval of the creation of this one (1) position also approves the increase to the FY 23/24 Community Development general fund budget by $44,969. Vacancy savings will cover the current year's cost.
