(7) H. Discussion/approval/disapproval of Patrick Dugan, Casa Grande, AZ, 85194 to the Industrial Development Authority, to fulfill the vacancy on the Industrial Development Authority. Term of Service will be February 16, 2023, through August 21, 2024. This appointment has been recommended for approval by Staff. Supervisor District #3. (Natasha Kennedy)

Discussion/approval/disapproval to authorize Pinal County Attorney to take all necessary action to enforce the Civil Hearing Office finding of violations against Salih and Nada Ibrahim, up to and including filing a complaint in Superior Court, utilizing appropriate resources to remedy the violations, and file liens for the cost of recovery. The property owner was found in violation of the 2018 International Property Maintenance Code (2018 IPMC) for: Section 108 Unsafe Structure and Equipment for having an unpermitted mobile home and unpermitted metal storage container. The Property is located at 15192 S. Highway 87, Eloy in Supervisor District #4. (Thaddeus Garlick/Kent Volkmer)

Discussion/approval/disapproval to authorize Pinal County Attorney to take all necessary action to enforce the Civil Hearing Office finding of violations against Margie B. and Scott Crawford, up to and including filing a complaint in Superior Court, utilizing appropriate resources to remedy the violations, and file liens for the cost of recovery. The property owner was found in violation of the Pinal County Development Services Code for: Storage and Accessory Uses for a storage container lacking a permit. Outside Storage and Parking for unlicensed/inoperable vehicles. Outside Storage and Parking for an RV being used as living quarters after a Temporary Use permit expired. Outside Storage and Parking for misc. scrap and debris items including automotive rims and tires. Outside Storage and Parking for construction materials after a SFR permit expired and the owners have not extended the permit. Accessory Uses for the parcel lacking an approved primary used use to the expiration of the SFR permit. The Property is located at 708 W. Tonto St, Apache Junction in Supervisor District #5. (10) Public Hearing and discussion of the use of Fiscal Year 2023 U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnership, and Emergency Solutions Grant funds. (Heather Patel/Angeline Woods)
(11) Discussion/approval/disapproval to submit a grant application to the U. S. Department of Transportation Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity grant program for $25,000,000. This grant will be used by the Public Works Department to build two major high-capacity roadway corridors: the State Route 24 Extension, an east-west extension from Ironwood Drive to the Central Arizona Parkway alignment, west of the Central Arizona Project canal; and the Central Arizona Parkway, a new four mile long north-south transportation facility from State Route 24 to Ocotillo Road on the west side of the Central Arizona Project canal. This access-controlled facility will improve regional mobility, address existing and future population and employment growth, and provide an alternative route to avoid congestion. (12) Discussion/approval/disapproval to retroactively submit a grant application to the U. S. Department of Justice Bureau of Justice Assistance's F Y 2023 Local Law Enforcement Crime Gun Intelligence Initiative for $700,000. This grant be used by the Pinal County Attorney’s Office to address the increase in firearm related violent crime in Pinal County by identifying unlawfully used firearms and their sources, effectively prosecuting perpetrators engaged in violent crime, and developing a safer community. (13) Discussion/approval/disapproval of a Lease Agreement between Pinal County (Landlord) and Town of Mammoth, a municipal subdivision of the State of Arizona (Tenant) at 116-118 Catalina Street, Mammoth, AZ 85618.
