(6)AH. Discussion/approval/disapproval of Resolution No. 060723-AD22-020 accepting the distribution of funds from USDA under Titles I and III of the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self Determination Act (SRS) for 2022 in the amount of $238,460.96. Title I of the SRS authorizes payments to be made to counties for the purpose of funding for schools and roads and Title III authorizes payments to counties for activities under the Firewise Communities program and for other emergency management purposes. (7) Public Hearing and discussion/approval/disapproval of Resolution No. 060723-RD22-120 requesting the extinguishment of a Drainage and Horse Trail Easement located within Lots 29, 30, and 31 of the Final Plat of “Creekside Estates,” recorded on January 30, 2004, in Cabinet E, Slide 21 in the Office of the Pinal County Recorder and being located within Supervisor District #2, Section 3, Township 3 South, Range 7 East, Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian, Pinal County, Arizona. (8) Discussion/approval/disapproval accepting the Assignment and Assumption of Grant of Easement from Pinal County to the State of Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) for a portion of Maricopa Road State Route 347, located in Section 33, Township 04 South, Range 03 East, in Supervisor District #1. (9) Discussion/approval/disapproval to consider the County Engineer's recommendation to establish as a County Highway a portion of Thornton Road from Selma Highway to Cornman Road, 65 feet wide for approximately one mile and to set a public hearing for July 5, 2023. (10) Discussion/approval/disapproval of the Pinal County tentative budget for Fiscal Year 2023-2024, beginning July 1, 2023, ending June 30, 2024, in the amount of $1,021,673,046 in accordance with A.R.S. 42-17103. This budget proposes a primary property tax rate of $3.5600. Approval of this budget sets aside funding as included in the budget development process. Newly requested positions and any salary changes will be appropriated to departments upon approval of position creation or approval of the Board of Supervisors as outlined in the adopted budget procedures. The FY 2023-2024 Pinal County Employee Compensation Plan will be considered in a separate agenda item. The Public Hearing and final budget adoption are scheduled for July 5, 2023. (Angeline Woods)
