(8) CONSENT ITEMS:
(8) AU. Discussion/approval/disapproval for Award Agreement No. DC-24-031 under the FY24 Drug, Gang, and Violent Crime Control grant between the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission and Pinal County through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors beginning July 1, 2023, ending June 30, 2024, for $145,286.62 with a 25% match requirement of $48,428.88. This grant will be used by the Pinal County Attorney's Office for one full-time prosecutor and partial funding of an additional prosecutor to enhance drug, gang, or violent crime control efforts to deter, investigate, prosecute, adjudicate, and punish drug, gang, and related offenders. The funding is included in the FY 23/24 budget. There is no impact on the General Fund. (Kent Volkmer)
