(4) Presentation and discussion by Tony Smith, President and CEO of Pinal Partnership, regarding the unveiling of the updated version of the Pinal County map, which is the result of a collaboration between the County and Hilgart Wilson. The project was made possible by the support of several private sector partners who sponsored it. Notably, the previous version of the map dates back to 2012. (James Smith)

Discussion/approval/disapproval to submit a grant application to the Arizona Governor's Office of Strategic Planning and Budgeting for American Rescue Plan Act funding for $17,640,000 and execute an Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Casa Grande. If awarded, Pinal County will execute a funding agreement with the City of Casa Grande to address critical water infrastructure needs in the southwestern portion of Casa Grande, Arizona. (9) Public Hearing and discussion/approval/disapproval of Resolution No. 2023-PZ-PA-006-23, a Resolution approving case PZ-PA-006-23, A Major Comprehensive Plan Amendment proposal requested by Pinal County to update the renewable energy source categories under Chapter 7: Environmental Stewardship, Section–Energy, Sub-Sections- Renewable Energy Sources; Energy Generation and Transmission; Goals, Objectives and Policies; and Appendix D of the 2019 Pinal County Comprehensive plan document.
