Discussion/approval/disapproval of Supervisor Goodman's appointment of Karen Mooney, San Tan Valley, AZ 85142, to the Planning and Zoning Commission to serve out the term due to a current vacancy, said term of service will be from January 4, 2024, through May 4, 2025. (7) Q. Discussion/approval/disapproval of Award Agreement 2024-PTS-048 under the GOHS FY 2024 STEP Enforcement between the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety and Pinal County, through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors, beginning October 1, 2023, ending September 30, 2024, for $75,000. The Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit will use the grant to support personnel services (overtime) and employee related expenses in reducing incidents related to traffic fatalities and injuries resulting from speeding and aggressive driving. Acceptance requires an amendment to the FY 23/24 budget to transfer reserve appropriation from Fund 213 (Grants/Project Contingency) to Fund 116 (Sheriff/Traffic Safety) to increase revenue and expenditure appropriations. There is no impact on the General Fund. (Mark Lamb)

(13) Public Hearing and discussion/approval/disapproval of case CSR-010-23: CPGC, LLC., requesting approval of a Comprehensive Sign Package, case CSR-010-23, to allow the installation of signs with a total square footage of 188.26 square feet, situated in a portion of Section 08, Township 01 South, Range 09 East, Gila and Salt River Baseline and Meridian (legal on file), tax parcel 104-12-001ZJ located on the Northeast corner of US Highway 60 and Kings Ranch Rd. in Gold Canyon.
