Call to Order
(2) Presentation and discussion regarding the Pinal County Sheriff's Office Reentry Program. In November 2022, in response to a state funded appropriation, the Pinal County Sheriff's Office received $6,300,000 (A.R.S. 11-392) to implement this program. A group of high-level executives convened to begin planning reentry coordination efforts. The executive team designated a committee to oversee the implementation of reentry coordination efforts in Pinal County, which began meeting in December 2022. The Pinal County Adult Detention Center (PCADC) is creating a Resource and Re-Entry Center for individuals released from the jail. They'll have community providers there to help the individuals with urgent needs such as, medical problems, enrolling in school, finding a place to live, and transportation. The providers will coordinate with these individuals to provide information regarding these services. (Mark Lamb)
