(8) AU. Discussion/approval/disapproval of Award Agreement 21-AZDOHS-OPSG-210437- 02 Amendment #4 under the Operation Stonegarden Equipment Grant Program between the Arizona Department of Homeland Security and Pinal County, through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors, beginning March 1, 2022, ending March 31, 2024. Amendment #4 extends the term of the agreement to July 31, 2025. The Sheriff's Office will use the funding for aircraft maintenance and aviation fuel. Acceptance does not require a fiscal year budget amendment as the budget was included in the adopted budget for FY 23/24, and the remaining amount will be budgeted for FY 24/25. (Mark Lamb)

(13) Public Hearing and discussion/approval/disapproval of Ordinance No. 2024-PZ-052-23, an Ordinance approving case PZ-052-23; IFIDA AZ Land Partners, LLC (owner), Dan Carless Sr - Coronado Development LLC., (agent/applicant), requesting an approval of a rezone of 22± acres from GR (General Rural Zone) to I-3 (Industrial Zoning District), situated in a portion of Section 10, Township 06S, Range 05E, of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian, tax parcel 503-31- 003B (legal on file), located east of North Bianco Road and south of West Cowtown Road and West Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway in Pinal County. (14) Public Hearing and discussion/approval/disapproval of Resolution No. 2024-IUP-004-22, a Resolution approving case IUP-004-22; Sarah Prince of Pew and Lake, PLC (applicant/agent) on behalf of Shippy’s Properties, LLC (owner), requesting approval of an Industrial Use Permit to add onto and continue operating an established materials processing and treatment facility on an ±26.19 acre site in the Industrial Zoning District (CI-2); Tax parcels: 104-63-005J, 104-63-009N, 104-63-009P, 104-63-009Q, 104-63-012W, 104-63-012S, 104-63-009M; situated in a portion of Section 06, Township 01 South, Range 08 East, of the Gila & Salt River Meridian Baseline, Pinal County, Arizona; more specifically located north of W. Guadalupe Road, between S. Warner Road & S. Pinal Drive in an unincorporated area of Pinal County. (15) Discussion/approval/disapproval of a Purchase and Sales Agreement between Pinal County, a political subdivision of the State of Arizona (Seller) and Randolph United Council, an Arizona nonprofit corporation (Buyer) in the amount of $34,220 for the sale of real property of county parcel number 401-31-004A for the use as a community center. This item requires unanimous consent of the Board. Supervisor District #3. (GA23-031) (Celeste Garza/Joe Ortiz)
(16) Discussion/approval/disapproval of the Pinal County tentative budget for Fiscal Year 2024-2025, beginning July 1, 2024, ending June 30, 2025, in the amount of $1,115,788,702 in accordance with A.R.S. 42-17103. This budget proposes a primary property tax rate of $3.4500. Approval of this budget sets aside funding as included in the budget development process. Newly requested positions and any salary changes will be appropriated to departments upon approval of position creation or approval of the Board of Supervisors as outlined in the adopted budget procedures. The FY 2024-2025 Pinal County Employee Compensation Plan will be considered in a separate agenda item. The Truth and Taxation Public Hearing and final budget adoption are scheduled for July 3, 2024.
