CALL TO ORDER
(11) Discussion/approval/disapproval of a Dry Lease Agreement between Hangar One Avionics (Lessor) and Pinal County Sheriff’s Office (Lessee) for the procurement of one (1) new 2024 Airbus H-125 Single Engine Helicopter (Serial Number 9647). This will be funded by a previously approved grant award in the amount of $9.4 million from the Department of Emergency and Military Affairs (DEMA) for border related missions and rescues. As part of the lease, Hangar One will assemble and outfit the helicopter and lease it to the county for three (3) years. Upon termination the county will purchase the aircraft for one dollar. The presentation provides an overview of the department’s efforts in FY 23 24 to recruit and retain a qualified workforce. The focus areas for FY 24-25 will be covered to ensure the department is meeting the ongoing needs of Pinal County, its residents and valued employees.
