(16) Public Hearing and discussion/approval/disapproval of Ordinance No. 2024-PZ-C-001-22, an Ordinance approving case PZ-C-001-22; Text Amendments to Title 3 Subdivisions of the Pinal County Development Services Code (PCDSC); amending Sections 3.05.010 through Section 3.65.060. The proposed amendments include: the administration of the platting process, definitions, general requirements and procedures for submittal of plats, specifications for plats, general subdivision design standards, required improvements, financial assurances and acceptance of improvements, plat amendments, re-plat and re-plat procedures, appeals, modifications and waivers and enforcement of regulations. The Planning Commission recommended approval (9-0) of case PZ-C-001-22. (Christopher Wanamaker/Joe Ortiz).
(17) Public Hearing and discussion/approval/disapproval of Resolution No. 2024-PZ-C-003-24, a Resolution approving case PZ-C-003-24; Amendments to the Pinal County Subdivision & Infrastructure Design Manual. The Manual sets forth Pinal County standards and policies for infrastructure design and assists in the preparation of the technical plans and reports for submittal to and approval by Pinal County. The 2024 Pinal County Subdivision & Infrastructure Design Manual clarifies and supplements requirements in the Pinal County Codes, including the Subdivision Regulations, Zoning Ordinance, Drainage Ordinance, Stormwater and Floodplain Regulations, and other regulations for land development within the unincorporated areas of Pinal County, pursuant to Title 3 (Subdivisions) of the PCDSC. (18) Public Hearing and discussion/approval/disapproval of Resolution No. 082124-RD24-027 requesting the partial extinguishment of a Drainage Easement recorded in the office of the Pinal County Recorder in Fee Number 2019-028747 and being located within Section 17, Township 2 South, Range 8 East, Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian, Pinal County, Arizona within Supervisor District #2. (19) Discussion/approval/disapproval of a budget amendment for the Adult Jail Education-Secure Care Program within the School Superintendent's Office. The program's funding supports the adult jail education program. Approval amends the FY 24/25 budget and transfers reserve appropriation from Fund 213 (Grants/Project Contingency) to Fund 310 (County School Secure Care) to increase revenue and expenditure appropriations. There is no impact on the General Fund. (Jill Broussard)
