(6)U. Discussion/approval/disapproval to retroactively submit a grant application to the Arizona State Parks & Trails, OHV Range Patrol Equipment & Supplemental Overtime Program for $100,000. A match is required in the amount of $15,000 and will come from the general fund. This grant will be used by the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Park Rangers to support overtime, employer related expenses, and purchase equipment. (Mark Lamb)

(8) Call to the Public— A "call to the public" is the time period for members of the public to address the Board of Supervisors on any item of concern or to provide public input relating to subject matter within the Board of Supervisors authority or jurisdiction. Those wishing to address the Board of Supervisors need not request permission in advance. Action taken as a result of public comment will be limited to directing staff to study the matter or rescheduling it for further consideration and decision at a later date.
(9) Public Hearing and discussion/approval/disapproval of Ordinance No. 2024-PZ-013-24, an Ordinance approving case PZ-013-24; Islamic Community Center of Tempe, owner, Omar Abdallah, applicant, requesting a rezoning of 9.54± acres from Suburban Ranch (SR) and 15.2± acres from General Rural Zoning District (GR) to RU-1.25 Rural Zoning District to allow for the continued location and expansion of a cemetery, Tax Parcels: 510-07-0200, 510-07-0190, 510-07-0150, and 510-07-013A – legals on file – situated in a portion of Section 18, Township 4 South, Range 2 East, located northwest of Rahma Street and AZ 238 in Pinal County, AZ.
