(6) Call to the Public— A "call to the public" is the time period for members of the public to address the Board of Supervisors to provide public input relating to subject matter within the Board of Supervisors authority or jurisdiction. Those wishing to address the Board of Supervisors need not request permission in advance. Action taken as a result of public comment will be limited to directing staff to study the matter or rescheduling it for further consideration and decision at a later date.
