8.AF. Discussion/approval/disapproval of an Award from the 2025 Bert W. Martin Grant Program between the Bert W. Martin Foundation and Pinal County, through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors, for $26,875, through December 31, 2026. This grant will be used by the Sheriff's Office to support the Shop with the Sheriff program. This will be incorporated with the 26/27 fiscal year budget. (Ross Teeple)

Call to the Public— A "call to the public" is the time period for members of the public to address the Board of Supervisors to provide public input relating to subject matter within the Board of Supervisors authority or jurisdiction. Those wishing to address the Board of Supervisors need not request permission in advance. Action taken as a result of public comment will be limited to directing staff to study the matter or rescheduling it for further consideration and decision at a later date. Public Hearing and discussion/approval/disapproval of Resolution No. 2026-SUP-012-25, a Resolution approving case SUP-012-25; Maria Pacheco of Centerline Communications (applicant/agent), on behalf of landowner James Puls, requesting an approval of a Special Use Permit (SUP) to operate a new 125' Wireless Telecommunication Facility for Verizon, designed as a monopine (129 feet with pine branches), within a 50'x50' compound on a portion of a ±10.0-acre site, situated in Section 5, Township 6 South, Range 2 East, tax parcel 501-67-012B (legal on file), located at the southeast corner of W. Junipero Road and N. Haley View Street and south of W. Desert Valley Road, southwest of Ak Chin Indian Community in unincorporated Pinal County. Public Hearing and discussion/approval/disapproval of Ordinance No. 2026-PZ-035-25, an Ordinance approving case PZ-035-25: Kent Volkmer, applicant, on behalf of the property owner TR Nova LLC, requesting approval of the rezoning of 10.0± acres from General Rural (GR) Zone to Industrial (I-3) Zone to develop the currently vacant parcel with industrial uses, situated in the Northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 35, Township 6 South, Range 5 East of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian, Pinal County, Arizona. Tax parcel 503-56-0150 located southwest of S. Roof Tile Road and W. Peters Road in the Casa Grande area, unincorporated Pinal County.
