Discussion/approval/disapproval as to whether the Pinal County Board of Supervisors believes a potential conflict of interest exists with the County Attorney's Office regarding the County Attorney's ethical obligations to the Board of Supervisors, his scope of representation, and Arizona Bar requirements in light of various activities, statements and actions made by the County Attorney to or about the Pinal County Board of Supervisors collectively or individually. Discussion/approval/disapproval as to whether the Pinal County Board of Supervisors believes a potential conflict of interest exists with the County Attorney's Office concerning the extent and limitations of the Pinal County Attorney's Office Arizona POST certified investigators and law enforcement power, if any, and under what circumstances they may exercise that power, and if such power falls within the statutory powers of the County Attorney's office under A.R.S. 11-532 through 11-536. 13.Z. Discussion/approval/disapproval of Award Agreement VC-26-012 Grant Adjustment under the Victim Compensation Grant between the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission (ACJC) and Pinal County, through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors, beginning July 1, 2025, ending June 30, 2026, for an additional $45,000, making the ACJC total grant award $199,694. This grant will be used by the County Attorney's Office to pay victims' benefits requests. The acceptance requires a FY 25/26 budget amendment to align the award amount to the budget. The amendment transfers reserve appropriation from Fund 213 (Grants/Projects Contingency) to Fund 186 (Victim Comp-State) to increase revenue and expenditure appropriations. There is no impact on the General Fund. (Brad Miller)

13.E. Discussion/approval/disapproval of the appointment of Alexis Porterfield, Casa Grande, Arizona 85194, to the Agriculture Extension Board. Alexis Porterfield's Term of Service will be from April 23, 2026, through April 22, 2028. This appointment has been recommended for approval by the University of Arizona County Extension Agent. Action taken as a result of public comment will be limited to directing staff to study the matter or rescheduling it for further consideration and decision at a later date.
