Discussion/approval/disapproval of the Pinal County tentative budget for Fiscal Year 2026-2027, beginning July 1, 2026, ending June 30, 2027, in the amount of $1,070,940,932 in accordance with A.R.S. 42-17101. The budget proposes a primary property tax rate of $3.2607. Approval of this budget sets aside funding as part of the budget development process. Newly requested budget capacity, positions, and any salary changes will be appropriated to departments upon approval of position creation or approval of the Board of Supervisors, as outlined in the adopted budget procedures. The FY 2026-2027 Pinal County Employee Compensation Plan is included and considered with this agenda item. The final budget adoption is scheduled for June 17, 2026. (Lupe Williams/Angeline Woods)
